Weathertech liners

Post  jamdread on Thu Oct 15, 2009 11:40 am

They're a great product and i'm probably going to get a set

http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvproduct.aspx?ItemGroupId=52&VehId=742&Year=2008

Sadly it won't be from Bank Street Mitsubishi or even the Canadian Weathertech Website, i'll probably pick them up in the US.

Check out these prices

Bank street - CDN$275 for front and back liner
Weathertech.ca - CDN$236 for front and back liner
Weathertech.com - US$169.90 for front and back liner

WTF is right. Considering that our dollar is almost on par with the states, weathertech is seriously ripping off the canadian consumer.

I'll be picking up a set of these when I go down to the states in a few weeks.

That's the price for the Canadian Market unfortunatly. But I'm happy with mine even if it was expensive it's worth every penny ! Very Happy

I noticed that the $236.90 CAD includes shipping, whereas the $169 U.S. does not appear to include it totally (get the back ones shipped free if you buy the front). Doesn't look like they ship to Canada due to them having a distributer here, and they don't ship to PO boxes in the U.S. either, so that ends that route for me. In the end it's still higher to buy from the Canadian site, but it's not too bad considering the free shipping, the exchange rate, plus what our visa/Matercard charges us to do the U.S. dollar exchange (the hidden cost). If you're going over to the states anyways then that's an entirely different story and the deal will be better for sure.

Right, I forgot about that one...so it will be the U.S. dollar conversion, the hidden visa/Mastercard exchange rates charge, plus duty...plus gas to drive around and find the place. Might be cheaper to buy Canadian after all?...that may be a first! cheers

Guys - if you buy them from me at the store, you won't have to pay shipping like you will if you buy them through WeatherTech's website. The prices on the website are the same prices that I charge as well.

They're a terrific product and I have to say, worth EVERY PENNY Cool

Ok, then I'll take a set. Do you need to order them or do you have it available?

Best bet is to give me a call at the store and we can take the order and payment by phone. I JUST placed an order with WeatherTech this morning, so perhaps I can add yours too it at the same time. Our number at the store is: 613-830-3130.

Look forward to hearing from ya! Very Happy

I'm going to call and order them tomorrow and you can see them for sure...I'll let you know when I get them. I absolutely want mats that will fit the floor perfectly, due to the recent mat problems with other cars and the dangers that poor fitting mats can create...I've also owned other cars where I just bought regular mats that really didn't fit properly. In those cases there were issues with the mats touching the brakes/rolling up when I moved the car seat forward (so I was constantly adjusting them), and also of them not covering the floor rug properly and then leaving damage to the rugs due to the salt/water/dirt. I plan to use these mats all through the seasons, as rubber mats are easy to clean. Expensive, but I'm hoping to get my money's worth.

Tell me about it......

I had a customer in last week who ordered mats for his 2010 Impreza.... back-ordered... won't be in for 3-4 weeks. I'm like.. uhh GUYS.. c'mon.. this is kind of silly. Their response? "Well, its busy this time of year"... thankfully my client is a super guy and said not to worry as he wasn't in any kind of rush. But still. I was told by my rep over there that for some models.. they are 3-4 weeks away from having inventory in-stock to fill the orders that are already there from suppliers.. let alone all the online orders Laughing
