carbon fiber in winter

ive ordered my c-f hood but ive seen tieuma (im not sure how its spelled) has taken his off and ive heard that c-f is not good in winter... can someone explain if this is true and what it does if you keep it in the winter?

Well it's up to you, I decided to remove it because of everything they put on streets during winter, to keep it as nice as I can... as well as I heard that cf was not good in cold weather. I'm not too sure of what happen when you keep it, but after I paid like 1000$ for it, I don't really want to test it lol!

good carbon fiber wont get ruined in cold weather, only the cheap 500$ hoods that are weak and flexible might get ruined. A good hood wont get chipped from rocks either.
