I had to borrow a bit from my father, but the car's paid for (with blood, sweat...many overtime shifts)...so it would be a really sweet deal for you so you better think about it...lol. I took everything I have ever saved and put it towards that car. I always drove cheap used cars until they dropped dead (one was $450, another was $750, another was $1200, so please know that I have suffered)...this is my first new car...saved a ton of $'s on just having basic (bare bones) insurance...ie, costs me $37/month for the Sebring...now I have the shock of high insurance for my EVO with full coverage...OMG, what have I done! affraid

I heard some Ultramar stations in town have 94, and for $0.03/l cheaper on Thursdays. I usually fill up at Sunoco since there's one near by.

I found a Sunoco on Carling which is fairly close that sells 94. I also heard about some Ultramar stations carrying higher octane but don't know which ones are close to me...when I find some free time, I'm going to call around. Maybe when we find a station that sells 93 or higher we should post it here, so if anyone is in the areas they will have the list and know where to go.

If I had $60k I would have put it in a high interest savings bank account earning 2-3% (guaranteed so no risk). Take the 0% financing from the dealer and you're basically making interest on your money. Probably around $1500/year of free money reducing as time goes on.

I like free money /shrug, assuming they were offering 0% financing of course.

I like free money too (lol). At the time of purchase it was 3.9% financing...plus, I hope/think that I got a good deal of $48,250 'drive off the lot, taxes and everything included' cash deal with phantom black paint, locking lug nuts, floor mats, with a $1000 Best buy gift certificate and free vacation with flight/accomodations to Vegas, all included in that price...also my insurance was apparently going to be a bit cheaper since the car would be paid off...and I was just paying taxes on the interest I was making from my high interest bank account anyways. It was best to pay cash at the time, at least for me. Bank street Mitsubishi told me that my dealership actually lost money on the cash sale of this car to me...don't know if that's so, but I'm quite happy (I think) with the price, so don't tell me if I should be dissapointed...it was a tough negotiating experience with me leaving the dealership and thinking it over, 3 times. Very Happy
