Not goint this week I got a really bad Cold

Might be there; if anyone has an OBD-2 code reader and they plan on coming tomorrow, could you bring it with you? My check engine light just came on in my Lancer (again).

Get that checked ASAP. I had my engine light flicker on and off for a period of time in my Sebring (I had it analyzed twice but neither code reader could read this Mitsubishi engine)...so thought it was just the computer "glitch" that everyone else was experiencing, as this is a common occurance with Sebrings (just google Sebrings)...whoa...big mistake and left it too long....3 O2 sensors, one flex pipe, and one cat later, plus installation, my engine light is now off...twas a big bill and much work finding these ancient, rare, and almost nonexistant parts for this car, that had only been produced this way for 6 months during the breakup of Chrysler and Mitsubishi in 1998.

Coryl, when I test-drove the Lancer before buying it, the CEL was already on. We asked the dealer about it and he said that it wasn't a serious problem, but that they would fix it for us before we bought it. When I picked up the car, the CEL was gone, however on my way home it came back on. Eventually the dealer had me go to the mecanic that he deals with to have it checked out; they replaced my EGR sensor (at no cost to me since it was supposed to be fixed in the first place) and all was well until last night. So I'm curious to see what's what.
