if you drive in gatineau, DONT try to race... there is undercover cops with modified car that tries to race everybody and if you try, they give you a big ticket and they tow your car, dont even try to get away, their red civic has around 300whp... my friend got caught and his sti got towed and he losed his liscence for 6 months.

So if the undercover officer is racing, shouldn't he be ticketed and his license confiscated?

Unfortunately that's not the reality...I sat in traffic court once...watched a woman give the perfect rationale for continuing driving on the ramp before entering the QW, and she even quoted from the driver's manual of the need to "go with the flow of the traffic until it is safe to enter"...didn't matter...she lost. No justice in the legal system...do not race against Civics, or anything else off track or you will pay the price.
