http://forums.evolutionm.net/vendor-classifieds/583119-699-titanium-exhaust-systems-full-catback-insanity-sale-litespec.html
$699 + shipping. No clue about quality but I know a few people around here would be interested.

Re: Killer deal on titanium exhausts @ EvoM
Apparently equivalent to the Tomei in quality...one small fitment issue apparently easily resolved although I understand that litespec will also send a 20mm longer hanger to fix issue if you ask...not sure why one should have to ask but maybe you don't need to anymore?
Good reviews on the quality of the litespec ti exhaust and the price is what stainless goes for and it's quite a few hundred less than the Tomei ti...watched some utube videos and the litespec actually sounds pretty sweet on the X.
I would have no problem getting this exhaust, and the only issue for me is really my need for balance with wanting to see the dual tips from a Titek ti exhaust coming out of the rear of the X...to me it is worth twice the price in comparison with the Tomei, but now I need to consider if it is worth 3 times the price of the Litespec
Might have to
on that one.

hmmm....
Design
*80mm seamless aerospace grade titanium piping
*Resonated 2 piece design
FEATURES
*Ultra light – less than 12lbs for full system (including resonator!)
This exhaust is definitely a bang for the buck !!! Tomie ti, is not resonated at the mid pipe and it necks down from 80mm to 78mm from the cat pipe to the cat back , am not to sure how much of an impact that would have!! the Litespec is even lighter or as light as the tomei with a resonator in the mid pipe, The tomei is pretty annoying for highway driving, am not to sure how the litespec is considering there is a resonator.
an exhaust resonator is basically the same thing as a muffler, in a sense that it cancles noise. a muffler just bounces the sound waves around inside to make the noise quieter whereas a resonator actually combats the sound waves coming in from the exhaust with sound waves of the same frequency ideally compleetly canceling the noise completely. for more info; www.howstuffworks.com and search for a resonator.
Anyhow am going to adress your issue coryl, and i had the same dilemma when i was looking for an exhaust is whether i should go for a single or dual exit !!
http://forums.evolutionm.net/vendor-announcements/521533-bulletproof-auto-single-exit-rear-diffuser-evo-x.html
Follow the link and i think your problem might have been solved !! i was considering getting one of these but after putting my lights on it was just more than enough for me in terms of cosmetics. and i mean the single exit with the stock diffuser has its cool and ugly days!! thats just me am not to sure about shogun.
I mean for the price of the tomei !! and i mean the cost of it to your front door is a massive price tag, id do it all over again with an ETS or an AMS single exit and get this diffuser and id still have some money left over. So the litespec and this diffuser combined am sure you'd be happy !!

Thanks for the additional info.
Much improvement in the final overall look for a single tip exhaust on the X with that diffuser too. Not sure if it's in production yet?
I had totally decided on the Titek now I'm not sure.
So many decisions to make and it only gets worse when you have two cars...
Just got a message that two sets of Michelins accidently arrived for the Subaru so I need to choose in the next few minutes so I can go pick them up installed on the rims tonight...Pilot's or primacy...I think I had made a decision on the primacy for the better snow performance but can't remember for sure and maybe now I should change my mind as the V speed rated pilot performance tires may handle well with an AWD car and since I've been given another second opportunity to change my mind?...

Yeah I've got some plans for the spring. Will most likely be picking up the AMS single-tip.

Like the AMS and ETS...my ear likes the ETS a bit better but Wolverine reminds me it's personal...lol. I also made a final decision...going with the Titek exhaust and the Primacy tires.

Hankooks...good choice!
Got the Michelin Primacy PA3 performance tires with the Elbrus I07 alloys for $250 less than it would have cost me at Tirerack so had to try them out...not sure how I got such an good deal but I'm good with deals and in the end those rims are going to look fantastic on the Subie. Not sure on reviews if the PA3's are worth the extra price...they're low resistance tires so apparently should save some on gas if the theory on such is correct...let's see. Losing some snow/ice grip with the PA3's for the additional performance on dry, but then how much snow do we get here anyways?
Bunch of us should take the cars out this winter for some fun.

well if you guys want to come out this january they have these events going on , its like snow driving teqniques there are rally style races but on a miniature scale
!!!
Yea i think i got a deal on my rims and tires and thats why i ended up going for the hankooks on the Evolution, i picked up a set of Fast rims a 5 spoke for 158 $ a pop but the tires were pricey! And as a matter of fact , Fast rims sells these packages! and it would be 30-80 dollars cheaper/tire if you go with there pre set deals !!! haha those bastards had blizzak and they were gng to sell me a tire for 400+ a tire plus the rims, so i ended up getting the hankooks.
And about the snow levels , i use to sit by my bed side and pray for it to snow so i can have some winter fun with the evolution!!
but since am away for most of the winter i dont think ill be doing so this year.

Yep, let's do the January rally.
Tires for the Evo are never cheap...one quote I got for winter tires/rims two years ago was over $4000 which was insane. What was the final cost of that deal?

Re: Killer deal on titanium exhausts @ EvoM
Just got the new Michelin PA3's put on the Subie. I decided last minute to put the new performance PA3 winter tires on the old rims and put the new beautiful Elbrus rims with the Tigerpaw all season tires for summer as there are at least 3 seasons left on the Tigerpaws. Drove home and realized my mistake...the PA3's have the most amazing smooth dry handling ride I can hardly believe it there is such a huge noticeable difference...you can also hear the gripiness of the tire when driving slow so I figure the PA3's are going to be very good for winter but there is absolutely no road noise when driving at regular speed and it's just so smooth. The problem...how am I going to put those garbage Tigerpaw tires back on this car come summer when these winter performance tires so outperform the all seasons on dry? What a difference quality tires make. In hindsight I should have just sold the Old rims with the Tigerpaw tires and bought something better come summer and now I'm so disapointed as I totally see the difference.
Tigerpaw is made by Uniroyal and Uniroyal is owned by Michelin which makes me realise that tire owner has little to do with quality...in the end I believe you pay for what you get when it comes to tires.

It's you winter car, who cares what kind of summer tires you have on it? You have EVO!

Planning some cross border trips and would take the Subie cause the yankees don't have good gas...lol. Those Elbrus rims are so sexy, but even they cannot make up for the crappy rubber I had installed on them.

When I was in Petawawa, I couldn't find any 93 + octane. I ran 91 in Eve with no problems at all. I wouldn't worry about it for a trip or two here and there.
